Jaemar Zykoshi

Physical Description:
Jaemar is an even six feet, most of which is comprised of lean, wiry muscle. His hair and beard are both flaming red, and cut short and trim. His eyes are twin emeralds. Jaemar prefers his native garb, but has a fondness for silk shirts beneath his studded leather vest. He walks with a horseman's rolling gait. He is just under thirty years old.

Personality:
In a way, the most boyish of Mariko's Warders, Jaemar is usually bright-eyed, cheerful, and possesses boundless energy. He keeps his good humor even in dark or dangerous times, and is often swift to see the bright side of things. The only thing he never jokes about is Mariko's safety...when any threat presents itself, he is as cold and determined as any of his brothers.

History:
His father a Saldaean fur trapper, Jaemar was born in the heart of Saldaean winter and raised in the frigid northern wilderness. Living near the Blightborder, he was all too aware of the danger the Shadow posed, and after his family was burned out in a Trolloc raid when he was sixteen, he joined the Saldaean army. He took to the saddle as if born for it, and earned numerous awards for valor and skill. He was twenty-one and already a veteran of the Border fighting when Mariko met him and recruited him. He is her most recent Warder, having worn her Bond for eight years.

Hobbies:
Jaemar is a child of the winter, and loves anything to do with snow. He skis, snowshoes, and ice-skates as often as possible, and will often go ice-fishing or cold-weather camping. As may be expected, he is also very fond of horses (and other animals), and spends much time in the stables. Jaem sometimes runs a trapline in the winter.
