Niriel Shalafein
Age: 27
Nationality: Tairen
Tower Rank: Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah
Physical Description: Niriel is a lovely woman, considered beautiful in the face by many. Her skin is a warm tan, her slightly curly hair so black it shines blue, and eyes such a midnight blue they appear black. She's small and petite, but with a figure that clearly catches the eyes. It is her right hand that most obviously mars her beauty. The index finger is little more than a nub, the tip a mass of ragged scar tissue. Her back and buttocks are also a mass of various scars, although she keeps herself covered so those are not visible.
Niriel, however, dresses so that many would mistake her for a pretty village girl rather than an Aes Sedai. She eshews her ring and, despite being very fresh to her Oaths, never wears her blue-fringed shawl.
Personality traits: Niriel is severely passive-aggressive. If she finds something not to her liking, she will quietly undermine it rather than confront someone head on about it. She has no patience with people who deem themselves better than others for any reason. Station, rank, nationality - none of these things means anything to her, which got her into a great deal of trouble as a Novice/Accepted. She has few friends, not trusting most. She has learned how to manuver the Great Game as a tool to harm those who use it the most. She will be the bane of Novices and Accepted, not because she's hard on them but because she refuses to let them curtsey to her or address her by her title.
Strengths (Power/Weaponry): Strong in the One Power, Niriel is best with Air and Earth, average in Spirit, and weak with Water and Fire. She's a decent Healer, although not on par with a Yellow, and a Dreamer.
Extra Information: On the surface, her mission as a Blue is to educate those in need that they might better their lives. She has not bothered to tell anyone that part of this education will include planting the seeds of dissention in the rabble most "nobles" dismiss as unimportant so they might rise up against them. She also has some secrets she keeps buried so deeply she won't admit them to herself. Despite her hatred and behavior, Niriel is not a Darkfriend.
